Description
This piece was inspired by a Pier table found in the Smithsonian’s Castle Collection. Old World-style carvings reflect ancient legends and myths, with embellished detail from apron to floor. Influenced by French designs circa 1850, the carving style at the knee is called “broken cabriole.” Today’s piece is handcrafted from exotic hardwoods with a delicately curved top.
