Shipping & Returns
StudioLX is committed to delivering unique products of the highest quality to our customers. Your satisfaction is 100% guaranteed. If for any reason you decide not to keep your merchandise, StudioLX will accept returns/exchanges within 30 days of delivery. Upon receipt and inspection of the item we will refund the full price of the item(s) excluding shipping and handling each way. If an item was shipped for free, our shipping cost will be deducted from the refund. All items should be returned in a new condition and in its original packaging. An item will not be accepted for return if it arrives in a used condition and/or showing signs of assembly/disassembly and/or without accessories.
If item is refused or cannot be delivered as a result of shipping company or us not being able to contact the customer via phone or email to schedule a delivery appointment, we will refund the full price of the item(s) excluding shipping and handling each way and 15% restocking fee.
We take utmost care in packing our items so that you can enjoy your purchase as soon as it arrives at your door. However, if you do receive a damaged, incomplete, or, in an unlikely event, a wrong item, please notify us as soon as possible but within 5 business days of receipt and we will arrange for pick up of a damaged or wrong item and ship a replacement item to you at our expense. If you receive a damaged/defective item, in order to simplify claim/replacement procedure, you must report a damage/defect to us within 5 (five) business days of receiving your order and provide pictures of the damaged/defective box/item. No refund will be issued for damaged/defective items reported outside of the 5 business days of receipt of the item. For damaged items shipped via Freight/LTL, no refund will be issued if Proof of Delivery document doesn't have customer's notes about "potential concealed damage inside" or "driver wouldn't wait for inspection" (as per our shipment acceptance email instructions for those items) as we will not be able to successfully defend the claim.
Additional Shipping / Return Conditions for Dreamline/BathAuthority and Aston Products:
• All returned merchandise must be new and in resalable condition – not previously installed.
• All items must be in their original packaging. No refund will be given if the product arrives broken or damaged. There cannot be any damage to or writing on the packaging of the item(s) being returned.
• For clients living in limited access / limited delivery areas – additional shipping charges may apply. Items shipped to addresses within continental United States that require additional handling (delivery to islands or major metropolitan or hard to access areas) will be accessed extra shipping charges. We will communicate those charges to the customer prior to shipping. In some cases, the freight may have to be picked up at the shipping company’s local terminal or other location mutually agreed upon by the client and the shipping company.
Custom Made Products:
• Once the order is placed with the factory to manufacture the custom made item, we cannot cancel the order. Customer must take a delivery. Also, no returns would be accepted for custom made items.
Take notice for items made of glass, porcelain, and acrylic
Because most of glass and porcelain products featured at StudioLX are handmade, slight variations may exist from the items shown on this website. These variations may not be considered flaws, rather a personal touch of the designer, which makes each item one of a kind. All acrylic items are custom made to order and may not be returned.
If you need to return an item, please Contact Us with your order number, details about the product you would like to return and the reason for your return. We will respond quickly with instructions for how to return items from your order.
How much will I be charged for shipping and how will my order be shipped?
We ship all orders of $39 and over for FREE via FedEx/UPS Ground for Small Parcel items and via Freight (see below) for heavy and/or bulky items within 48 continental U.S. states (excludes Hawaii, Alaska, and International shipments). Expedited FedEx/UPS shipping methods are available for Small Parcel items.
We charge $7.00 flat rate shipping charge for any order under $39.00 shipped via UPS/FedEx Ground method to any address within continental United States. Additional shipping charges apply for expedited FedEx/UPS delivery methods and orders shipped to HI, AK, other U.S. territories, and International addresses. We do not ship to PO boxes or military APOs.
How quickly will my order be shipped and when will I receive it?
We understand our customer’s desire and expectation to receive their order(s) as fast as possible. All of us working here at StudioLX have the same expectations when we do our own shopping online. So, here’s what you can expect.
All products in our store have clearly marked lead times in a format similar to the following: “ships within 24-48 hours”. This lead time indicates how long it takes to process an order and prepare this particular product for shipment and when you should expect to receive an order shipment confirmation email containing tracking information. Upon receipt of this email you will be able to track a progress of your shipment either through your account with us or by using order status section of our website, located here:
Here’s what to expect once your order is shipped…
Small Parcel shipments or those that do not require Freight delivery service:
Since we ship from warehouses located throughout the United States, shipping times may vary for different products. For example, for a person living in California, it may take 1-2 business days to receive an item that is shipped via Ground from a warehouse located in California. However, it may take up to 6 business days to receive an item shipped via Ground from our warehouse in New York. In general, it shouldn’t take longer than 6 business day for your order to reach your door step, if it’s shipped via Ground. We also offer expedited shipping methods at standard shipping rates as described in previous section and you should expect to receive your item within a time frame of the shipping method that you have selected, regardless of where our warehouse is located. If you receive a damaged/defective item, in order to simplify claim/replacement procedure, you must report a damage/defect to us within seven business days of receiving your order and provide pictures of the damaged/defective box/item. We won't be able to issue refund for damaged/defective items when reported outside of the 7 business days period.
Similarly to small parcel shipments, we ship items requiring Freight delivery from warehouses located throughout the United States. Delivery times, however, are slightly longer due to specifics of Freight delivery service. In general, you should expect to receive any item shipped via Freight delivery service 1-3 weeks after an item was shipped.
Once your item reaches a distribution center near you, a representative from a shipping company will contact you to schedule a delivery appointment.
Important! Although all items shipped via Freight delivery service are handled carefully, upon delivery, please inspect the shipment for any damage. If you find a damaged carton or have any reason to believe that the item is damaged, please write “Product Damaged” on a delivery document that a person from the shipping company asks you to sign. This would insure an easy processing if an item turns out to be indeed damaged.
