Shower Bases & Walls

StudioLX carries shower bases and pans in acrylic and solid surface, plus backwall kits and tub surrounds that install over existing walls.

Sizing and drain position. Bases come in standard footprints — 32" x 32", 36" x 36", 48" x 32", 60" x 30" and 60" x 32" are the common ones. Confirm drain location before ordering: center, left-offset and right-offset are not interchangeable, and moving a drain means opening the floor.

Threshold height. Standard bases have a 4 to 6 inch curb. Low-threshold and barrier-free models drop to under 2 inches, which matters for accessibility and for a curbless look.
